WebGui and WebWare - Wednesday, April 30 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Workshop runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (lunch provided).  This workshop will include the following topics:

  1. WebGUI Is an incredibly powerful content management system, with the added ability to interact with DASCO. This class will focus the first half on getting into using WebGUI: laying out your site, managing templates, planning new themes, and some other design and control issues. There will also be time spent on ensuring everyone understands how DASCO can interact with WebGUI to benefit donors.
  2. The afternoon will all be hands on, allowing people to work at their pace, to create their first site or work on architecting and laying out more extensive features.

This will be an intensive, hands-on training and discussion workshop led by Corey White. Corey will keep it basic for the newer folks, and promises to go as deep as others want to go. This workshop will be invaluable for staff planning to use WebGUI, content managers involved in just the content of the site, or clients with sites that want to have some direct time with Corey on the bigger picture of their site.

Make sure you bring your wireless enabled laptop, or you will just be watching a lot and unable to participate.
