Connecting Missionaries with Donors
Global Training Network needed to improve its ability to manage the relationship between donors and missionaries around the world. It is critically important to inform field workers of funds coming in for their use and enable them to be involved in the relationship with donors.
Field staff can be overwhelmed by the enormous variety of data stored in a large and complicated fundraising system. Although helpful to the organization, their need is simply to communicate with donors based on information relevant to their personal relationships.
Training field workers to use a more complicated system is very difficult, as the very nature of their work does not allow for bringing all staff together for a training session. To obtain the data they need usually requires many steps, system knowledge and a larger time commitment than is available. Additionally, workers trained to be on the front lines may not have the necessary technical ability.

Easier, More Efficient Communication
Donor.com has supported integration with TNTMPD (http://tntmpd.com) for many years, and the new version of this product makes it even easier for use in the field. TNTMPD was developed by overseas workers for this very special purpose. It has been refined over decades, and is the exact tool someone working in the field needs to get the feature-rich data they require. We are proud to support missionaries in this way, and the direct integration of TNTMPD with DASCO facilitates this.
Global Training Network can use this tool because donor.com believes in working with the open source community and can support this kind of integration with a very modern, open, API-driven architecture.
Pledge Management and Sponsorship enables native integration with TNTMPD for specific field missionary/staff requirements. This means that field staff used to working with TNTMPD for decades can leverage all the newest features of the system in real time from the main DASCO dataset.
Full integration with TNTMPD results in better reporting with full, data-rich reports directly targeted at the needs of field staff as they fulfill responsibilities to report to, communicate with, and develop better relationships with their donors.
A simpler interface also means that field staff can be more easily trained, and spend less time gathering and organizing their support base back home. The direct and easy access to donor specific information streamlines the entire flow of data from head office to points around the globe.
